ART PROGRAMS REGISTRATION
POLICIES & PROCEDURES

By registering with payment in any art program, you are agreeing to the following policies & procedures:

REGISTRATION POLICY

  • Registration is on a first come first serve basis

  • Advance registration is recommended

  • Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of payment in full.

  • Registration is subject to availability.

  • All programs and prices are subject to change without notice.

  • Tracey Walsh reserves the right to remove students from classes when necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of others. Any student removed from any class at any point during the run of the program is not entitled to any refunds or credits.

 


WITHDRAWALS & REFUNDS POLICY

  • Payment for art class registration is due in full at the time of registration.

  • Customers who withdraw more than 5 days prior to the start of a course will be issued either a refund (minus a $25 administration fee) or a class credit may be applied to any art class for 6 months from the date the credit is issued. *Please note that issued monetary refunds may take up to 30 days from the date of withdrawal.

  • Customers who withdraw 5 days or less before the start of class will not receive a refund or credit, nor will the student be transferred to another program.

  • Absenteeism from a class does not constitute a withdrawal.

  • Students who miss classes in their registered programs are not entitled to any refunds or credits for missed classes.

  • Withdrawal requests must be made by email directly to Tracey Walsh at:

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Students will be contacted via phone and email when classes are cancelled due to inclement weather or other circumstances.

  • Every effort to provide make-up classes will be made BUT cannot be guaranteed.

  • Refunds will not be given in these cases.​

 

 

ACTS OF RESPONSIBILITY POLICY

  • Tracey Walsh cannot be held responsible for any accident or any unforeseeable incident/event/problem which may occur on the premises during an art class.

  • The participant of any art class assumes that participation involves the risk of an accident occurring and the participant or parent/guardian of the participant/s who is under 18 years of age, must assume all responsibility.

  • The participant (including parent/guardian) of any art class is not permitted to damage the premise, property and any effects contained within the building and classroom. This includes the supplied art materials. Damages incurred will result in a monetary charge to the participant's parent/ guardian at the monetary amount as deemed appropriate by the land/building owner and/or Tracey Walsh, artist.

  • The participant or parent/guardian of the participant/s who is under 18 years of age, is responsible for making Tracey Walsh aware of any pre-existing social and/or medical needs (be they physical, emotional and/or mental health). This ensures that the registered student/s, classmates, and teacher are provided with a positive, supportive, and safe environment. All information will be kept confidential between Tracey Walsh and the participant or parent/guardian of the participant/s who is under 18 years of age.

  • It is requested that the participant or parent/guardian of the participant/s who is under 18 years of age explain any pre-existing social and/or medical needs (be they physical, emotional and/or mental health) in the 'participant or parent/guardian note box' on the class registration & payment form. All information will be kept confidential between Tracey Walsh and the participant or parent/guardian of the participant/s who is under 18 years of age.

  • Tracey Walsh will not be held responsible for any lost or misplaced items belonging to any art class participant.
     

 

SOCIAL INCLUSION & PERSONAL SAFETY POLICY

  • Tracey Walsh takes great care in making sure that every child, youth, and adult, are treated with equality, acceptance, respect, understanding and safety.

  • A strong anti-racial/anti-bullying policy is in effect in all of Tracey’s classes. Tracey Walsh reserves the right to remove students from classes when necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of others. Any student removed from any class at any point during the run of the program is not entitled to any refunds or credits.

  • Though every effort is made to ensure all students are learning in a safe and accommodating environment, Tracey Walsh cannot be held responsible for any accident or any unforeseeable incident/event/problem which may occur on the premises during an art class.
